Join Geo Gnome creator Phoenix Simmons for a guided gnome hunt! Come find the 14 Geo Gnomes who are representing various states on their visit to Aullwood. Each Geo Gnome is decorated with their state bird and other items that give visitors a clue as to which state they represent! Phoenix will guide you as we take a 3 mile hike to hunt for the Geo Gnomes, introduce their state birds and share fun behind-the-scenes facts about their creation along the way. Participants will also get to sample a variety of snacks from the Geo Gnomes’ home states, select a mini-gnome to take home (one per family) and be able to enter a Geo Gnome Raffle for a chance to win the Ohio Geo Gnome or an Aullwood membership or membership renewal.

You must pre-register for this event and registration is limited. We use registration to assign staff, so please register early; events with low registration may be cancelled. Please dress for the weather. Meet in the lobby of the Nature Center at 1000 Aullwood Road, Dayton OH 45414. This event is free for members of Friends of Aullwood, National Audubon Society, and ANCA affiliated organizations with membership card or receipt. Non-members attending pay regular Aullwood admission, free for children 3 and under, $8.00 for children 4 to 12, $12.00 for adults 13 to 64, and $10.00 for seniors age 65 and over, active duty military members and veterans with military ID.
